Scott believes communication and accountability are lacking in many advisor-client relationships. He is a strong advocate of client education -- with every client interaction, he ensures the client feels involved in the process and clear on what actions are taken and why. He believes this extra step provides value because his clients trust him to provide upfront and accurate recommendations.
Although Scott has been in the financial services industry for decades, he likes to joke that clients may not have heard of him because he doesn’t spend his time self- promoting. A Certified Funds Specialist® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Scott works diligently for his clients by helping them plan and navigate through all of life’s changes. Much of his experience stems from having spent decades working with individuals in transition.
Scott helps his clients make qualified decisions regarding retirement planning, financial choices during job displacement, wealth retention tax strategies, and cost-effective investment structure and management. By understanding each client’s current situation and anticipating future financial needs, Scott can devise financial strategies to suit each client’s particular circumstances.
Scott is an active volunteer at Stray Rescue, a St. Louis-based nonprofit whose purpose is to rescue stray animals in need of medical attention, restore them to health, and place them in loving homes. Scott also serves on the Board of the St Louis Public Library Foundation and Human Resources Management Corporation.
